Meet Your Psychologist
My name is Alisha Staples
I’m a school psychologist with 26 years of experience in special education, including time spent as a special education teacher. Over the years, I’ve worked in a variety of school settings supporting diverse learners and helping students overcome challenges that impact their academic success. As an advocate, I work closely with families to provide guidance, ensure their voices are heard, and collaborate on strategies that promote growth and success both at home and at school. I'm also proud to serve on the board of the Indiana Association of School Psychologists, where I contribute to advancing the profession and supporting school psychologists statewide. Currently, I’m extending my reach to families outside of the traditional school setting by offering personalized coaching services. When I’m not working, I’m happiest spending time with my family—traveling, attending concerts, or tending our homestead garden. On summer Saturdays, you’ll find me running my produce stand at the local farmers market, connecting with my community.
